Of Course We're Not Busy, We Did It Right The First Time

One of our biggest pet peeves is that we hate to do things over again. One of our biggest pet peeves is that we hate to do things over again. One of our.... ok you get it. Because of this we try to gather as much information at the very beginning before we go any further. If you inquire about a design we will most likely respond with a paragraph of questions. If you are unsure about anything we will do our best to work with what information we do know. We'd just hate to spend time on something for you and then send you something that's wrong or that cannot be used the way you need it. We'd like to get you exactly what you want as soon as possible. Quality is extremely important but we also realize you want it now, not two months from now.

Everything You Need, When You Need It

While working on your design we will start by sending you small resolution JPEG's of the concept of your design. This is to prevent your email inbox from getting overloaded with large files every time we make a revision to your artwork. Once we have an idea you like and you're sure that's what you want, we will add more details, clean it up and send you a slightly higher resolution image so you can see exactly how it will look. After your final approval we will send you a ZIP file with your design in multiple formats and resolutions. We want to make sure that if you need your design/logo for anything, we have you prepared. If your artwork is vector art we will make sure to send you different vector formats in different color formats.

Depending on how your artwork will be used it may need to be in different formats. We'll send you a few different size JPEG's that can be displayed on web sites or that can be used for high quality printing. Web graphics are best at 72dpi. Printed graphics are usually 150dpi or 300dpi (sometimes more). We'll most likely send you JPEG's at 72dpi, 150dpi, 300dpi and 600dpi. We say "most likely" because you may not need all that if we're also including various vector formats, which include AI, EPS, WMF, PDF and we may even include the actual CDR (CorelDRAW) file if you'd like (and if we used Corel to create your artwork). There are also different color formats for different uses. For anything displayed on screen colors should be in RGB format. Graphics used for full-color digital printing or 4-color process printing on apparel often needs to be in CMYK format. Most apparel is done using spot-color and pantone colors. We can set it up for spot color printing as well.

We're Only Human.... Or Are We??

We try to get as much information as possible from the very beginning to avoid any mistakes. Unfortunately it is impossible to avoid mistakes. No matter what happens we will do everything we can to resolve any problems. We understand mistakes happen and we would like you to understand this also. Please make sure to communicate as clearly as possible. Re-read everything before you send it to us and make sure everything is explained in a way that will keep the risk of misunderstanding minimal. Often times when you know exactly what you want it's difficult to explain it to someone else keeping in mind they know nothing at all about what you want. Try not to jump back and forth between ideas. Complete one idea before moving on to the next. If you want a green scary dragon and purple block text we'd hate to send you a blocky purple dragon and green scary text. It's best to separate your ideas into different lines or paragraphs. Fully explain one element of your design then go to a new paragraph before explain another element. This will help us a lot when we're working on your design while looking at your instructions. We'll be able to note the elements of your design and refer to your email much quicker.

When It Doubt, Start With Us!

We will outsource production jobs to benefit your particular order. It all depends on the design as well as the quantity you would like. Some places have better deals for small quantity jobs (10, 20, 50, 100 items, etc) while other places have better deals on much larger quantity jobs (250, 500, 1000 items, etc). We will always do our best to make sure whoever produces your product will provide you with the highest quality work and the lowest prices. If we find a company that can provide equal or better quality for less money we'll use them for your job and save you money. This is also why we cannot list specific prices. Each job is different. Send us an email letting us what you need and we'll let you know how much that job would cost. You are under no obligation to complete your order, but we encourage it ;)

If we are unable to provide you with exactly what you need we will make sure to point you somewhere that will be able to help you. Which is why we say, "when in doubt, start with us." If we can't help you we'll find you someone who can.
